Holocaust (a story by Alan Hebden, mostly illustrated by Horacio Lalia, which ran in issues #14-22 of Fleetway's short-lived but fondly remembered science fiction title Starlord) was the tale of ex-CIA agent turned private detective Carl Hunter's quest to thwart an extraterrestrial conspiracy and save a disbelieving world. Oddly, the conspiracy in question eventually turned out to be masterminded by telepathic alien rats. Hunter may have been no Fox Mulder, but then, his opponents didn't really warrant one; a common or garden variety fox would have done just as well, it seems...

Holocaust was probably the weakest of the strips in Starlord, but was still entertaining, and it did have some very nice artwork.
