Harry North is a comics artist whose credits included some work for Valiant and Valentine at IPC, the detective strip Hazell for Target, episodes of the James Bond newspaper strip for the daily Star in 1981, The Ascent of the Human League in music magazine Smash Hits, and work for Heavy Metal and both the British and american versions of Mad Magazine. He is probably best remembered, though, for his lengthy association with Look-In, for which he drew strips including On the Buses, Doctor at Sea, Doctor in Charge, Doctor on the Go, Supergran, No. 73, It's Madness and ALF. He eventually moved to New York and went into advertising.
