Gerry Haylock's UFO for Countdown/TV Action

Gerald A. "Gerry" Haylock (born in Bromley, Kent, in 1928) was a comics artist who drew for various titles and publishers between the mid 1950s and the late 1970s, including Angel of Mercy, A Cosy christmas and White Queen of Calabar for Girl, Guinea Pig and Knights of the Road for Eagle, various painted covers for Schoolgirls' Picture Libray, UFO for Countdown, Land of the Giants for Joe 90 and, perhaps most notably, more than twenty Doctor Who stories for TV Action and TV Comic from 1971 to 1975 and again in 1978 (Haylock is considered by some to be the definitive Doctor Who comics artist, although he was apparently not particularly fond of the strip).
