Doctor Who (Radio Times strip)

Gary Russell (born 18th September 1963) is a freelance writer and former child actor best known for his extensive work in connection with the Doctor Who franchise (including novels, audio adventures, reference books and the TV series itself) and his role as Dick Kirrin in the 1978 TV series The Famous Five (as well as The Phoenix and the Carpet and a walk-on part in the James Bond film Octopussy). He was the editor of Doctor Who Magazine between 1992 and 1995 and also wrote a number of the DWM comic strips, as well as the Doctor Who strip in the Radio Times in 1996-1997. He has also written for the American line of Doctor Who comics published by IDW. Outside of the Whoniverse, he also worked on Marvel UK's Cyberspace 3000.
