Frank Robbins (September 9th 1917-November 28th 1994) was an American comics artist and writer, newspaper strip artist and celebrated fine artist, whose lengthy career included work on characters such as Johnny Hazard, Scorchy Smith, Superboy, Batman, Man-Bat, Captain America, The Invaders, The Human Fly, Ghost Rider and The Man from Atlantis. He's here basically because he co-created two of Marvel Comics' most prominent British superheroes, Union Jack and Spitfire.
