Frank Langford (born Cyril J. Eidlestein in 1926, he changed his name by deed in the 1960s, taking his wife's surname) was a comics artist whose career appears to have begun in the 1950s when he drew for Roxy. He drew The Angry Planet in Boy's World in 1963, then the title strip in Lady Penelope from 1966 to 1969. He worked on Countdown/TV Action in the early 1970s (on Doctor Who and The Persuaders, amongst other things) but from then on appears to have worked principally on strips for advertising (something he had been doing since the 1960s). He also worked on romance comics for America's DC Comics in the 1960s and into the 1970s. He died in 1998.
