History[]
Fishboy was apparently a child who spontaneously developed "slightly webbed hands and feet" and the ability to breathe underwater after being stranded alone on a desert island and forced to find food in the sea, a somewhat unlikely scenario which did not seem to have had any long-term adverse effects on him. He had a number of extremely odd adventures, including being captured by the Collector (a bug-eyed weirdo who travelled by sitting cross-legged on a litter carried by two trained wolfhounds and had an assistant called Odd-Bod) while searching for his missing parents, who he learned were geologists working in Canada.
