Film Fun was a celebrity based British comic which ran for 2, 225 weekly issues between 17th January 1920 and 15th September 1962, when it was merged with Buster. It was published by the Amalgamated Press, and later by the Mirror Group, then IPC. Before World War II, its circulation reached a peak of 800, 000 copies per week; it was cancelled when circulation dropped to below 125, 000 per week, which these days would be considered a phenomenal number.
