Eve was a young unemployed woman born into what was then a near future Britain, who was conscripted ino the service of the Global Peace Corps, in theory providing aid in impoverished regions of the world but in truth merely acting as pawns of the multinational corporations that ran the world, notably Multifoods. Eve, who hated her situation, was a supporter of B.A.D.S (the Black African Defence Squad) and an associate of the would-be revolutionary Finn. She later became a television news reporter.
