Dog's Tale was a one-off strip in the 1967 Beano Summer Special, drawn by David Sutherland. It was the first solo strip to feature the pet dogs of the Bash Street Kids (the dogs had previously been recurring characters in the Kids' strip). It clearly went down fairly well, as in Beano #1326, published in December 1967, they were awarded their own regular strip, Pup Parade, which ran until 1988 and then returned from 2003-2004.
