Synopsis for "After Life"[]
Library assistant Alice Obiefune's life is falling apart. Her mother Ada has died, she's lost her job, her flat is about to be demolished, and then to cap it all, she finds herself being chased by a giant alien dog which feeds on negative emotions, in company with a madman with a box. But it takes Alice's empathy to remind the Doctor that a dog is usually someone's best friend, alien or not...
