Dicky Howett is a cartoonist who has been active in comics since the 1970s, often working in partnership with Tim Quinn. Among his extensive body of work are Super Mum for IPC's Whoopee! and The Gold Rush for their early eighties title Jackpot. Working with Quinn, Howett notably created Earth 33 1/3 and various other humour strips including The Fairly Amazing Spider-Hound, The Fantastic 400, Hulk the Menace, Jet Lagg, Flickers, The Concise History of the Galaxy, I Was Adolf's Double, Whacker's World and Doctor Who? for Marvel UK in the 1980s. They also created The Doctor Who Fun Book, and Howett contributed cartoons to various men's magazines.
