David Wright (1912-1967) was a comics artist best remembered as the creator of Carol Day (pictured right), a serialised strip from the Daily Mail. He also drew for Cowboy Picture Library, and was a popular pin-up artist working on titles such as Men Only. His son Pat Wright is also an artist.
