They're ideal for any fantastical story, or for a sci-fi story with fantasy elements (Wulf Sternhammer was brought into the future by time travel, honest), as they have a reputation for being brave, doughty, convivial and prone to random attacks of mindless psychotic violence. Plus they have helmets with horns on.
