People who have deep-seated psychological issues because of a difficult or non-existent relationship with their real or assumed father. This may include a failure to say goodbye to the father before his death. Daddy issues can manifest as a desire to find a father substitute in later life (e.g. Captain Britain and Galen DeMarco), as a tendency to violence (e.g. Sláine MacRoth), or as both propensities (e.g. Judge Fairfax).
