Carlos Cruz Gonzalez (credited as just Carlos Cruz) was a Spanish comics artist born in 1930. He worked extensively for Fleetway from the early 1960s to the late 1980s on publications such as Buster, Tiger, Smash!, Princess, M.A.S.K and New Eagle, and for DC Thomson on Warlord and other titles.
Cruz drew a wide variety of strips, including Dan Dare, Bloodfang, Union Jack Jackson, Doctor Mesmer's Revenge, The Robot Builders, Crabbe's Crusaders and Sergeant Rock: Paratrooper. From 1988 to 2003, he worked on The Phantom in Sweden. Cruz died in 2018.
