Synopsis for "Lonely Are The Hunted!"[]
Lord Hawk incapacitates Captain Britain and implants a tracker device beneath his skin. He plans to kill Captain Britain later, when everybody is watching, because that will teach modern society a lesson... or something. He's basically nuts. Anyway, Lord Hawk tracks Captain Britain to London and battle commences in the middle of Piccadilly Circus. (NB: this story is partially reprinted, with alterations, in Hulk Comic #33.)
Notes[]
Published by Marvel UK in April 1977.
Trivia[]
For an academic, Lord Hawk displays a remarkable lack of mental acuity. He doesn't draw the obvious conclusion when he invites Brian Braddock round for tea and Captain Britain turns up instead. Nor does he realise that the comatose hero is his dear friend and former student Brian in a red mask which doesn't hide his trademark floppy blonde hair.
