Synopsis for "...Gathering Of Gladiators!"[]
Captain Britain saves Captain America and James Callaghan by turning on his force field and jumping on the bomb in front of their cell. He breaks the bars holding them in. James Callaghan wishes the heroes luck and leaves. Nick Fury, leading the assault on the Red Skull's base, is startled to see that Captain America isn't dead. While he is distracted, the Red Skull shoots him and then teleports away to Big Ben, where Lance Hunter is still clinging on to the big hand. Captain Britain uses his computer skills to make the teleportation unit send him to Big Ben as well.

Trivia[]
Captain America blames himself for not telling Nick Fury sooner that he was alive, but he'd been so busy that he never really had a chance to convey the information. Also, it wasn't his fault that he the lorry driver he did give the message to, Ralph, was shortly thereafter shot in the back by a closet Nazi.
