Synopsis for "They've Kidnapped The Prime Minister!"[]
The Red Skull uses a teleport device to kidnap the prime minister, James Callaghan. Captain Britain reveals his secret identity to his twin sister Betsy. Captain America gets one of the Red Skull's henchmen to tell them where he's hiding. He then tries to contact S.T.R.I.K.E. but the call handler thinks he's a lunatic and hangs up. Captains Britain and America commandeer a passing lorry so they can drive to the Red Skull's base (this is before Captain Britain could fly), and ask its former occupants, one of whom is called Ralph, to tell S.T.R.I.K.E. where the Red Skull is hiding. Lance Hunter is informed that Scotland Yard has received an ultimatum: either the British government surrenders, or a germ bomb is detonated above London. As Ralph the lorry driver searches for a telephone he is shot in the back by his companion, who as luck would have it turns out to be another of the Red Skull's agents.
