Bob Baker (1939-2021) was a British television scriptwriter who, usually in partnership with his longtime friend Dave Martin (they were known collectively as "The Bristol Boys"), worked extensively on the original run of Doctor Who, notably creating the characters K9 and Omega. In 2021, he revived his Doctor Who villain Eldrad in the one-off title Eldrad Must Live for CutAway Comics, but sadly died some time before it was published in the UK.
