Black Gumbs was the leader of the Slavers of Drule, feared throughout space...until they made the mistake of kidnapping the family of Eleanor Kreeble, who hired Strontium Dogs Johnny Alpha and Wulf Sternhammer to retrieve them! Johnny picked off most of the slavers, then, when Black Gumbs attempted to escape on his ship, blew up the ship with Gumbs on board it.
