William 'Bill' Holroyd (1919—2000) was a comics artist from Salford in Lancashire. He began drawing for DC Thomson in the late 1940s, working on strips for titles including Beano, Dandy, Topper and Bunty, as well as others for smaller publishers such as Paget Publications. His credits include The Four Marys, Brassneck, Jack Silver, Screwy Driver, The Iron Fish and The Fighting Frasers. He retired in 1984.
