Beanpole was a member of the Mutant Liberation Army and served under General Armz. Ha and another mutant discovered a young Johnny Alpha (then John Kreelman) and took him back to Armz, where he trained in combat to fight for the mutant cause.
During the battle for Westminster Abbey, Beanpole was sadly amongst the first to die when he was hit by the newly designed disintegration guns used by the Kreelers.
