Batman: the Dark Knight was a reprint anthology title launched in July 2012 by Titan Magazines (though the first issue was cover dated August) at a price of £2.99. It reprinted two stories per issue, from two of DC Comics' Batman titles published roughly ten months beforehand. The first issue featured reprints of the first issue of Detective Comics Vol II and of the American Batman: the Dark Knight #1. The magazine was printed in full colour in an A4 format larger than that used for the original American issues. The cover carried the rating 'T for Teen' indicating that it was not suitable for a younger readership.
