Avengers United was a card covered 76 page title published every 28 days by Panini UK from June 2001-December 2008 (a total of 100 issues), which reprinted strips from the American Avengers series published by Marvel Comics. The title typically contained two relatively new issues and one "classic" reprint from the 1960s or the 1970s. It was the first British title dedicated solely to the super team since the Avengers Weekly published in the early-mid 1970s by Marvel UK (though Panini's tag-line on the cover of issue #1 ("Earth's Mightiest Heroes-in their own British title at last") would apparently like us to forget that series altogether). The title was succeeded by Avengers Unconquered.
