Arthur Ranson is an English comics illustrator born in Essex in 1939. He first made his name in comics from 1977-1990 working for Look-In on strips including Logan's Run; Sapphire & Steel; Dangermouse; The Bionic Woman; Worzel Gummidge; Buck Rogers; The A-Team; Just William; Count Duckula; The Beatles Story and Michael Bentine's Potty Time. He later worked on Marvel UK's Doctor Who Magazine in 1990, and has worked extensively for 2000 AD on strips such as Anderson, Psi-Division; Mazeworld; Tharg's Future Shocks and Button Man. He has also worked in American comics for both Marvel and DC.
