Alfonso Azpiri (1947 to 2017) was a Spanish comics artist best known for his adult-orientated work, mainly in the Italian market. One of his most regularly recurring characters was Lorna, a space adventurer in the mould of Barbarella, who basically spent her time travelling the galaxy and shagging anything that moved; Azpiri's work has been reprinted in titles such as Heavy Metal and Penthouse Comix.

On a (slightly) more family-friendly note, though, he also created Roman slave turned soldier Black-Hawk for Tornado, drew parts of Ant Wars for 2000 AD, and drew some of Planet of the Damned for Starlord.
