Alan Craddock is a British comics illustrator and colourist whose first commercial work was a short strip in the 1979 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special. He went on to paint covers for The Super Heroes Monthly and its associated spin-offs including the Superman Spectacular in 1980-82 (for London Editions Magazines), and has since worked extensively as a colourist on 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine as well as on Panini's Action Man and Spider-Man titles, Doctor Who Adventures, Doctor Who Annual and the Doctor Who strip in the Radio Times for BBC Publishing, Doctor Who — Battles in Time, and work for Eaglemoss and various US publishers including Marvel Comics, Dark Horse and DC Comics. He has also worked extensively outside the comics field on video covers, magazine covers, children's books, computer game covers, fantasy gamebooks (notably for Fighting Fantasy) and trading cards.
