The man known only as Michael was, alongside his partner Gabriel, one of the principal agents of the shadowy intelligence agency known as the R.C.X. (Resources Control Executive). The enigmatic, forever smiling Michael and his partner briefly coerced Captain Britain (Brian Braddock) into working for them, and used his home, Braddock Manor, as a headquarters, and as a hiding place for the mutant children known as the Warpies.
