A Love Like Blood is a comic strip by John Smith and Frazer Irving, about a vampire and a werewolf who fall in love, which appeared in 2000 AD progs 1243 to 1249. Pictured is the cover of prog 1243, by Kevin Walker. The series is available in a trade paperback confusingly called Tharg's Terror Tales Presents Necronauts and A Love Like Blood.
Smith says that the story was "an idea I'd had on the back burner for years, since I was fourteen or fifteen. I wrote this short story for English homework about vampires hunting werewolves. It was only when I thought of the Romeo and Juliet angle that the whole thing clicked. It's got to be one of the most commercial, high concept things I've ever come up with."
