Synopsis for "Judge Dredd: Emerald Isle, Part 1"[]
At dawn in Mega City, the Emerald Isle ambassador was kidnapped and led to a room where he was burned alive. Judge Dredd was called in by Judge McGruder and briefed of the situation. Then, he was shown that a potato was lodged into the head of the ambassador's corpse. They deduced that the Emerald Isle Militia had killed him, since they used spud guns. The Judges suspected that an ex-mob hitman named Bonny Staples could have been the killer.
