Dredd and his team gain control of the rad-tractors. By using them in combination with their Mantas to kettle the juves, the Judges quickly end the fight.

Synopsis for "Sláine: Heroes' Blood (part 1)"[]

Ukko has been bleeding Sláine and saying that it is a vital part of the healing process. Sláine discovers that in fact Ukko has given his blood to Domnall the smith so he can use it to make powerful weapons. Domnall promised Ukko money, but so far none has been forthcoming. When Sláine finds the bodies of warriors in Domnall's hut and realises that he has murdered them to get their blood, Domnall knocks him out and ties him and Ukko up. He plans to drain all the blood from Sláine's body and make a truly spectacular sword.

Synopsis for "Nemesis the Warlock"[]

Nemesis appears to Sir Evric in the middle of the night and says he will grants him three wishes in return for ending the siege. He grants two of them, gold and courage, straight away. Sir Evric's third wish, to be young and handsome again, will be granted when his forces have left the planet. The next morning, the newly self-assertive Sir Evric tells Brother Hieronymus that they are returning to Termight. Muzurphus, leader of the Basilisks, can't believe his luck when the Terminators depart. Nemesis tells him and Grobbendonk that "Sir Evric's troubles are only just beginning."

Synopsis for "Strontium Dog: The Moses Incident (final part)"[]

Johnny tricks Malak Brood into piercing his own burden of guilt (manifesting on the physical plane as a ball and chain) with his death-blade, which can absorb the souls of men. This means that the blade soaks up all of Malak's guilt. It is too much for Malak to bear, and he and his zombies (including the disembodied heads of his brothers) crumble into dust.

Synopsis for "Rogue Trooper: The Gasbah (part 3)"[]

Rogue discovers a Nort in the gasbah who is disguised as an alien. The Nort takes a dancer in a bikini hostage. Gunnar uses a ricochet shot to kill the Nort. The dancer caresses Rogue and offers to show him her gratitude, but he declines. The Nort was carrying a message pod which reveals that his side have a nest of agents in the gasbah. Rogue tries to get the message to the Southers, but is incapacitated by a toxin. Norts appear and capture him. They reveal that the dancer is one of them, and she used her touch to poison him with virus X, which the Norts send to the gasbah via a stamel rider in the previous prog.

Trivia[]

  • Tharg says that the Nerve Centre has been reduced in size to make room for all the prog's thrill-power. There are no letters from readers, and only one piece of fan art (Tharg as a vampire).
  • Next week the title of the Sláine story changes to 'Hero's Blood'.
