Rogue and his buddies are chased by a Nort missile, which they manage to destroy. The missile was being tracked by an atmocraft containing Messrs Brass and Bland. Bagman uses his sensors to listen to their conversation, and discovers that there is another GI at large somewhere on Nu Earth.

A rather nifty (and niffy) environmental parable: people from the future are overwhelmed by all the rubbish that has accumulated in their time thanks to the careless habits of their ancestors, so they decide to return the favour by using time-dump technology to send it back to the past.
