Synopsis for "Nemesis the Warlock: Tubular Hells"[]
This story follows on from the previous Nemesis the Warlock episode in the previous prog 2000, which was entitled 'The Final Conflict' and promised that "Nemesis and Torquemada are finally dead... for all time." They both come back from the dead and start fighting each other again. Torquemada says that he and his ilk (who by this point are thinly-veiled metaphors for Catholic priests/monks) use "punishments" to make people think that they are gods. Nemesis responds by crucifying Torquemada, because "no punishment is too much for your vile crimes." Torquemada and Nemesis both seem to have a thing about punishing people. By this point Earth is being governed by Purity Brown, but she doesn't feature in this story.
