Led Belly tells Gottlieb how he passed the Defiance Code on to Ro-Jaws. Greasy Gracie's is raided by anti-robot police. Ro-Jaws and Hammerstein dance the cakewalk on the bar's stage, pretending to be Howard Quartz. Watching on surveillance cameras, Quartz realises that Led Belly is Apex. The police attack Gottlieb, causing Hammerstein to go berserk.
