Dan Dare ends on a cliffhanger which has never been resolved; this is his last appearance in 2000 AD, except for a cameo in prog 500. The next original Dare strip to be published is in Eagle #1 in 1982. Project Overkill also concludes. It is announced that Tornado will be joining 2000 AD next week, so this prog is the last time the Starlord title will appear in the masthead.
